James Gatlin

A Jacksonville, Florida native with a simple goal: make everyday personal protection more affordable.

Why I started

Concern for people. A practical response.

I started selling non-lethal self-defense products because I care about the dangers people face in everyday life. College students heading to class, delivery drivers making their rounds, single women going about their day, and children at school or at home all deserve consideration when we talk about safety.

As a Jacksonville, Florida native, I have become increasingly concerned about crime and the hostility people can face over their beliefs or politics. Those concerns helped motivate me to start Safety Tech Devices.

My goal is to help people find practical ways to prepare for their day, whether they are at school, at work, on the road, or at home.

What I believe

Protection should not be a luxury.

Everyone has the right to defend themselves within the law. Finding a personal safety tool should not mean stretching an already tight budget.

That is why affordability matters here. Compare our prices with big-name brands, look at the features, and choose what fits your needs and your budget.

Preparedness for everyday life

Different routines. The same concern for safety.

For college students, delivery drivers, and women living on their own, preparation starts with understanding the situations they encounter and choosing appropriate tools they can carry legally.

For families, protecting children starts with adults: making a safety plan, identifying trusted people to contact, and considering tools such as personal alarms and home security devices.

A product is one part of being prepared. Awareness, a plan, and knowing how to get help matter too.

Find protection that fits your budget.
